ABOUT FERIDA MISTRY BSC. (OST)

Ferida Mistry strongly believes that many people are living with unnecessary levels of pain/discomfort she believes that by observing the body as a whole, both acute and chronic pain can be addressed.

Ferida Mistry was born and raised in Surrey and developed an understanding, ambition and drive for osteopathy at an early age.
Having graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1994 and has developed her skills through postgraduate courses and by working in close contact with GP's and other therapists.

Ferida Mistry BSc. (OST) also spent time working with The Back Pain Clinic which is part of the Westminster Primary Care Trust. She worked as part of a team alongside physiotherapists, psychologists and podiatrists, treating people in chronic pain.

Ferida Mistry is a caring and dedicated Osteopath and gives each individual the care and quality of service she would expect for herself.

She is friendly and believes that care for the patient starts upon the, moment an appointment is made.

Statutory Regulation

In 1993, under the osteopathic Act, Osteopathy became the first complimentary healthcare profession to be accorded statutory recognition with the establishment of the General Osteopathic Council.

Ferida Mistry is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of The British Osteopathic Association. Patients therefore have the same safeguards as when consulting a doctor.
